Shock LaRue was a killer hair band that put out this nice four song demo tape in 1993, which was unfortunately about two years too late to have much chance of doing anything. That being said, they were most certainly a victim of timing, not lack of talent. This is a solid hard rock demo that should be a part of every collection. I came upon this recently, and I thought you would all enjoy it...Let me know your thoughts. You can still find members of this band on myspace playing in an 80's tribute band called "The Reagan Years"... Here's the link:

ReplyDeleteI saw these guys at a club in FL in 1994, and hung out with them afterwards then went to their 2nd show the next night.
Awesome band, def. would have made it if the timing was a little different.
